    PROJECT DESCRIPTION

    Our company completed the entire renovation of the Archaeological Museum of Corfu. The exhibits come from all the historical periods of the whole island, prehistoric, historic and Roman times.

    After the renovation, the museum has a completely different and modern approach, with different units for every period, and many audiovisual means that are combined with a great variety of museum showcases, of great aesthetic and technical perfection.

    SHOWCASES AND OTHER CONSTRUCTIONS

    The new museum combines many different types of showcases, including wall standing, free standing and table showcases, with custom designed opening mechanisms, podiums, lighting, active and passive humidity controlling systems. More specifically:

    • 35 showcases of all types.
    • More than 50 podiums.
    • Various constructions combining wood, glass, aluminium and Plexiglas.
    • Uv protection films and roller shades
    • Inox and Plexiglas parts for the exhibits support.
    • Lighting system

    All showcases were designed with an anti seismic protection.
